PRESIDENT OF SOAR SACRAMENTO (Volunteer)

At SOCIETY FOR ORPHANED ARMENIAN RELIEF (SOAR) SACRAMENTO

2022 Christmas Fundrasing Campaign

My tenure as President of the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) Sacramento, a nonprofit organization and part of an international network with chapters around the world, was a deeply fulfilling experience marked by impactful leadership, effective fundraising campaigns, and strategic collaboration. One of my most notable accomplishments was managing the annual fundraising campaign for the Sacramento region. Through dedicated planning and a focus on engagement, we successfully raised critical funds to support orphaned Armenian children and adults with disabilities, directly improving their quality of life.

Beyond fundraising, I prioritized teambuilding and fostering a culture of collaboration within our nonprofit. I guided a passionate team of volunteers, providing coaching and mentoring to empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary for impactful contributions. By emphasizing a mission-driven approach, we strengthened our ability to execute effective campaigns and deliver meaningful support to those in need.

As a result of our collective efforts and organizational excellence, our chapter was honored with the prestigious 2022 Chapter of the Year award. This recognition reflected our commitment to SOAR’s global mission and demonstrated the tangible impact of our work in transforming the lives of orphaned Armenians not only in the United States but around the world.
